The DL brand has an impressive crew on board, why not take the time to get to know them a little. With many years of event experience in all arenas, together this team formulates extravagant events for all to see enjoy!

• How long have you been in the event industry?

I have been in the events industry for over 6 years. I started from the grass roots stage and worked my way up. I was pretty much thrown into the den with lions; I fought, survived and it has been an incredible journey ever since! Great venues. Great people. Many failures, but you live, learn, and strive to achieve more.

• How do you want to be remembered?

I want to be remembered as a person that never gives up. I have always wanted to set an example for others through hard work and dedication. I want to INSPIRE. I want to defy all naysayers. When people see what I am doing, I want it to spark a fire and give them the same drive/passion that I have to succeed and do whatever it is they want.

Life is what you make it. You can be whatever you want to be, when you are ready to be it.

Carpe Diem.

• How long have you been in the event industry?

Since 2010, I started working for a ballroom dance studio and event venue in St. Paul. I was able to work on a mass variety of event accounts including quarterly promotional dance events, weddings, corporate meetings, and non-profit organization functions.

My time at the studio helped me gain experience and the knowledge about the event world. I’m very excited to be a part of the DL team and contribute to the growing success of the company.

• What do you think is the most exciting aspect of event planning?

The most exciting and rewarding part is the actual day of the event. To see the vision and hard work come together and come alive in front of your eyes is an exhilarating feeling that can’t be replaced.

One thing I make sure do it at all events is to take a moment, step back, just observe and take it all in. All the planning is worth it for that moment.

• What do you think is the most exciting aspect of event planning?

The most exciting aspect of event planning for me is the process of brainstorming. We have a great team and when we come together with our idea’s it’s amazing!

• What are some of your key insights to life or favorite quotes you live by?

“You're either part of the solution or part of the problem”

         - Eldridge Cleaver.

Short but simple quote that can be used towards any situation in life.

• What is your work or expertise?

While going to school full time at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, I am an illustrator by trade. I work on a variety of projects including fashion and merchandise advertisements, t-shirt design and also personal commission work.

I have aspirations to venture into the editorial field in the near future. In my line of work, there is a strong emphasis of draftsmanship with limited use of color. My main goal is to create beauty within my pieces and to inspire loyalty between artist and client.

I love the give and take of client relationships.
